My Role
While continuing to head up the Development and Training Function with Hidden Hearing Ltd, a private retailer of hearing instruments and services, I am building the Academy of Neuro Linguistic Coaching as a professional body of Business and Personal Performance Coaches who can offer companies and individual clients a range of coaching services, specifically using NLP, that meet a recognised standard of competence and professional registration.
My work as a Coach
Another focus is the work I do with individuals and groups to assist them to reach their full potential and realise their goals. Some of my work starts with a corporate need or is based upon the individuals needs as a member of an organisation, this includes confidence, persuasion, influence, rapport building, sales and presentation skill development.
The other portion of my work is as a coach working with individuals to achieve personal goals and personal life change and includes confidence, assertiveness, removing self-limiting beliefs, compulsive habbits and phobia.
I am also a Coach Supervisor or 'Super Coach' within a corporate setting mentoring and developing other coaches.
Special Interests
I have recently become involved in the psychological approaches of tinnitus management and the aspects of life change linked to the rehabilitation of the hearing impaired and have become a member of the BSHAA Education and Professional Practice committee.
A large proportion of my work is in the development of healthcare dispensing professionals, in developing communication and relationship building skills linked to identifying lifestyle needs and preferences and rehabilitation.
I have written a serialised article for the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists on the use of NLP within a commercial healthcare consultative context. My book 'The Chameleon Effect' which is a book about the application of NLP within a consultative sales environment is now available together with my other titles, including I'd Just Like To Say, which is a handbook for anyone required to deliver a presentation, through this web site.
I also utilise my skills performing as a 'mentalist and 'psychological illusionist' for corporate events and private parties.
